    3. June 9, 2012 From a project to a Regional Registry Afrinac has come a long way in it desire to become a Regional Registry. Along the years sptep by step (even if small) this comunity has achieve what can be consider in 1997 by some as a dream…. Today we are proud to tell all these early dreamer that their become a Reality! You can be proud with us. The real work can now start!!!!

    5. June 9, 2012 AfriNIC structure To handle the changes and evolution of the re-oganisation, AfriNIC has started to deploy its HR plan. Today, 4 persons work for AfriNIC and a 5th will join soon. We have hired a CFO Harish Gowrisunkur An additional Engineer has been hired Franklin Nnebe (starting in the coming month) To be hired soon 1 addition Host/Webmaster 1 System Engineer

    12. June 9, 2012 AfriNIC activities Continue our awareness program: Participation to the WSIS’s Africa Prepcom meeting in Accra. AfriNIC has participated in different panels on Internet Governance and Number Resources Management. Organisation of two Public Policy meetings per year: AfriNIC-2: Maputo (26 & 27 April 2005) AfriNIC-3: Cairo (22-24 November 2005) Continue to attends as much as meeting we can to inform the community about resource allocation process in our region

RR data still with each RIR. Ongoing discussions to use a single RR for allocation in AfriNIC region.
