Outcomes of Preparation for work in Diploma Programme • What I strived for and what I expected? • to develop my language skills enough to conduct lessons • in English; • to study special terms on my subject to be able to use them; • to learn writing lesson plans in English based on DP concepts; • to know how to assess my students in DP. What I achieved? I mastered classroom English, Arts glossary, created a number of lesson plans, exercises for Arts lessons and acquired skills of criteria assessment.

  3. Problems that I faced during my preparation It was and is difficult: • to know and use all Arts terms; • to operate the English language in any situation; • to develop the needed competences.

  4. My Development: how and why have my competences grown up? • Participation in workshops and conferences • Reading IB documents • Meeting foreign guests • Perfecting the language

My PerspectivesPlans for the Future • I’d like to perfect my English. • I want to continue my work at school 9, not only in MYP, but in DP. • I’d like to participate in IB workshops, conferences and seminars. • I wish to compare and share experience with teachers of other IB schools in Russia and other countries. • I want to continue working at my professional portfolio, enriching my dossier through teaching experience and self education.
