  1. 1. Animal adaptations are things that help animals meet their needs. • 2. Adaptations help animals to be safe from predators. • 3. To survive, animals need shelter, food, oxygen, water, and climate.

  2. 4. Some adaptations that turtles need are webbed feet and nostrils on the top of their head to breath. These adaptations help the turtle survive. • 5. Camouflage is something blending into it’s surrounding. Camouflage can help an animal by protecting the animal and making it less visible to predators.
