  1. Design Technology WILF: to know that there are many types of vehicles and that ideas for designs can be gained by looking at existing products. I can name lots of different vehicles and start to think of design ideas.

  2. What is a vehicle? Vehicles are used for transporting people or goods. What vehicles can you name?

  3. Wheels Do all vehicles have wheels? Do all vehicles have the same number of wheels? Do all vehicles have the same sized wheels? Do all vehicles have the wheels in the same place?

  4. Vehicles Why are vehicles different shapes? Which vehicles have parts that move / light up / make noise? Why?

  5. Vehicles Looking at vehicles can help give you ideas for designs!! Look at the pictures of vehicles on your tables and make some labeled drawings in your books. How could you label your drawings? type of vehicle wheels parts that light up

  6. Ideas for Designs!!You will be making a vehicle with wheels … Using a box, what kind of vehicle will you make? How many wheels would you like your vehicle to have? Will your vehicle have a purpose?
