BPD is a mental health disorder that generates significant emotional instability. • Symptoms: Impulsive and risky behavior, destructive behavior, wild mood swings, Inappropriate anger, intense episodes of anxiety or depression, suicidal behavior, difficulty controlling emotions, fear of being alone, and self hate.

  3. BPD is caused by: genetics (disorder inherited), environmental factors (child abuse, neglect, separation from caregivers or loved ones), brain abnormalities (changes in certain areas of the brain involved in emotion regulation). • BPD can be treated by: psychotherapy, medications, and hospitalization.
