  4. Where did The Zuni live? My tribe lived in clay houses not apartments. They lived in the southwest in clay and stick houses and towns only big enough for one family. The Zuni lives with their clan in one house. The houses were rather big. I learned that they lived in houses like clay ,sticks , and big houses. 5. What did they live in and how did they make it? Not everyone had houses like yours. The Zuni lived in large houses with rock under clay. They got rock from the ground. Sometimes they live in caves too. They have to get even stones to make a good house. I learned that they make houses kind of like ours and they are big and made of clay. 6. What type of clothing did the Zuni wear? Do you know how different your clothing is from the Zuni is? It is very different. They used hair , animal skin , fur , and feathers to make there clothes. They had jewlery too. It was made of turcoise. I think they used their resources wisely because animal skin and things like that are good for clothes. Back to Table of Contents Photo Credit: Image Quest .com

  7. What did they make? My tribe had beautiful pottery and farms. They made pottery by using dye to make desighns on the pot. Sometimes they make other clay things too. They make dye with crushed berries. They made farms like us except no electronics. Back to Table of Contents Photo Credit: Image Quest .com

  8. What materials did they use to make what they need? Long ago they didn’t have much metal or cloth. So they made clothes out of animal skin and houses out of clay. They got sticks and rocks from the ground and skin from animals. Also they used rocks and sticks to make weapons to kill animals for food. I learned that my tribe had lots of resources. 9. What did they eat? A long time ago they had to hunt and farm to get food. In their farm they had corn, beans, squash, berries, and yucca. They hunted deer, buffalo, and elk. To get them they used slingshots and traps. Ithink they hunted and farmed effectivly they have lots of food. Back to Table of Contents Photo Credit: Image Quest.com

  10. What was their music like? A long time ago they had bells for music. The Zuni would attach copper bells to themselves and danced to make music. It sounds good if they stay together but very different than our music. I think they were smart to get bells for music. Back to Table of Contents Photo Credit: Arwen Ferro
