  14. AMA Youth Run Club What do the kids say? They say that the running club is their family and that their favourite part of the running club is running and playing with their friends. YRC message: “…it makes me feel “healthier and happier,” it makes me feel “welcome and needed” and it makes me feel “less stressed !”

AMA Youth Run Club • Introduced in fall, 2017 • Purpose is to encourage girls to participate in physical activity and to decrease the gap in the athletic participation rates of boys and girls • Welcome all! GO! Run Clubs attract girls who may not view themselves as “fast runners” or “athletic.” • Positive, upbeat attitude; Bring Your Good Energy! • 2017-18 season ended with 32 GO! Run Clubs
