  7. OSMIRdata (Good practices) OSART report OSMIR form

  8. What data is stored in OSMIR? Whole OSART missions OSART mission : No.1 – 188 (1983 – 2015) Follow-up visits : No.1 – 127 (1989 – 2015) Results in OSMIR OSART mission : No.50 – 188 (127 missions) Follow-up visits : No.18 – 127 (100 visits) • 2962 Recommendations • 2185 Suggestions • 1245 Good practices

  9. Why is OSMIR useful? You can look through past findings. • By year • By reactor type • By country • By plant • By review area • By review topic • By findings type (Recommendation, Suggestion, Good practice) • By text search

  10. Why is OSMIR useful? (cont’d) For OSART reviewers; After getting some findings, reviewers can check; • whether there were similar findings in the past. • which IAEA Standards were referred on similar issues. For Member States; They can get; • strengths and weaknesses in other NPPs and let them be lessons to themselves. • how other NPPs solved similar issues. For OSS; Used to assist in creating OSART highlights report and generate statistics.

  11. What is necessary to use OSMIR? • Computer • Microsoft ACCESS • Credential from IAEA (OSS)

  13. How to use OSMIR? (Findings report) In making a “Findings report”, You can set whatever conditions you want. You can start from 4 types of conditions; • By area and topic • By country and plant • By reactor type • By year

  14. How to use OSMIR? (Findings report) In each condition you can add several filters. In each category you can set more than 2 filters. Country: France Country: South Africa Mission year from:1995 to:2000 Mission year from:2005 to:2015 Reactor type: BWR Reactor type: PWR

  15. How to use OSMIR? (Findings report) You can use the text search function in a flexible way. Exact expression • equipment qualification • steam generator Match case • EQ • SG Whole word only Start with • contractor • contractors • subcontractor …

  16. How to use OSMIR? (Findings report) You get a Findings report!

  17. How to use OSMIR? (Statistics) For the effective utilization of OSMIR data, some graphic functions are available. • The numbers of findings in each topic • Follow-up status in each topic • The number of missions by region

  18. How to use OSMIR? (Statistics) • The numbers of findings in each topic

  19. How to use OSMIR? (Statistics) • Follow-up status in each topic

  20. How to use OSMIR? (Statistics) • The number of missions by region. We are going to improve OSMIR with proposals from Member States.
