  2. LAST WEEK’S HIGHLIGHTS October 1, 2009 Make a difference. Change the world one child and one community at a time. INVOCATION ANNOUNCEMENTS SPEAKER Heavenly Father, Let Kiwanis widen our circles of interest and broaden our spheres of service. Teach our members that we need not be rich to be generous, especially with our time; that service to others is the rent we must pay for the space we occupy; and that it is not the talented but the dedicated who serve You best. And now bless this food to our use and us to Your service. Amen REMINDER! SELL THOSE TICKETS! Thank you, Joe, for your interesting perspective on the U.S. Navy of the mid 20th century, and insights into the evolution of the Mayport Naval Station. JAGUAR TICKET SALES FUNDRAISER Our club is selling Jaguar football game tickets all season. Each ticket purchased raises $10 for our club; so this has potential to be a great fundraiser.
