  1. THE SHIELD OF FAITH (Eph. 6:16) “Above all, taking in shield of faith with which you will b eable to quench the fiery darts of the wicked one.”

All of our actions come from two basic emotions - love or fear. • (2 Tim. 17) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. • (1 John4:17) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

  3. 2. Your greatest victories will come out of times of greatest intimacy with the Lord. • (Gen. 1:26; 3:8) Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness…and they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. (cf. Rev. 3:20; Ephs. 2:10; Jer. 29:11)

  4. 3. It’s not about having faith in your faith, it is about having faith in His faith. • (Hebrews 12:2) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;
