Specialties of Romans • Romans were good builders. • They built roads, bridges, cities and many buildings where ever they went. • They were extremely well-trained soldiers, nobody disobeyed them.
Means of traveling • The Romans used beautifully constructed chariots. • Chariots were two-wheeler carts driven by horses. • It could carry one or two people at a time • Mostly the rich used chariots. • They were also used in races.
Dress of a Roman Soldier • A roman soldier wore good clothes. • He wore a metal helmet to protect his head, a metal armor to protect his body, and a woolen tunic to keep him warm. • He had a metal belt on which he carried sword and spear. • He covered his feet with wooden sandals.
The Romans changed the world’s history. They brought glamour, luxuries, discipline to their kingdoms. They expanded and took their knowledge in medicine to other parts of the world.
