Mike Beunder- to serve as SSCS Rep to Management Council • Occupation: • Is co-founder and CEO of Vector Fabrics B.V., a high-tech startup founded in 2007 and active in the field of multicore embedded software • History: • Co-founder and CEO of Cavendish Kinetics Ltd., a MEMS technology company he took as a spin-out from Cambridge University all the way to product and customer with headquarters in Silicon Valley. This also included all aspects of venture capital financing. • Manager Marketing and Strategy, CTO Office at Philips Semiconductors as Manager Marketing & Strategy • Co-founder and VP of Technology Development at embedded DRAM startup Silicon Access in San Jose, CA • Director Passport Technology at COMPASS Design Automation in San Jose, CA and Sophia Antipolis, France. • Education: • MSc in EE and CS from Twente University (NL) in 1985 • PhD in 1989 from Twente University (NL) and IMS Stuttgart (D) • Current Associations: • Joined EhrhardtLeus & Associates, a company active in the high-tech M&A business as an Associate Director in 2004 providing technical expertise in the ICT area as well as general expertise in the area of venture capital funding for high-tech startups; • Joined Intrinsic-ID, a high-tech startup company active in the area of semiconductor-based security solutions as a member of the Technology Advisory Board in 2008 • Joined Process Relations GmbH, a high-tech startup company active in the area of semiconductor process development methodologies and software tools as a member of the Technology Advisory Board in 2007 • Publications & Patents: • Over thirty publications, several video training courses and three patents • Others: • Has been actively involved in the organization of a number of IEEE sponsored conferences including CICC • Has been a member of several semiconductor and EDA working groups including VSIA and SI2/SIPPS • Fluent in Dutch, English, French and German; rusty in Russian and Indonesian, starter in Japanese
