  2. Introduction • Keeping the car clean is as important as ensuring safety on the road. • A windshield is one such major aspect of a vehicle. A cracked windshield not just looks bad but also challenges the safety concerns. • To ensure that a windshield offers a clear view of the road, it is important to keep it clean. • The following slides talk about the various reasons to keep your car’s windshield clean and various methods to do the same.

Windshield- Car’s protecting agent • Reason- • A windshield prevents external elements such as dirt, debris, and rainwater from entering the car. • A sturdy windshield also protects the passengers from severe harm during an accident. • Method • In the case of cracks or chips on the windshield, visit the nearest service centre and get it repaired or replaced. • To keep the windshield clean, wipe it with a micro fibre cloth soaked in cleansing lotion.

Wiper blades - Keep the windshield clean • Reason- • Driving properly becomes a challenge during heavy monsoons or wind storms. • It is recommended to maintain clean wiper blades and regularly check for their proper functioning to ensure clear visibility. • Method - • To clean the wiper blades, lift it from the windshield glass. • Apply a small amount of washer fluid or soapy water to a clean cloth or rag and wipe the edges of the wiper blades. • Tip: If you notice a squeaking sound, smear or streak, and reduced driving visibility due to worn out wipers, it’s best to replace them.
