Exam Basics • Multiple Choice • The test is 80 M.C. questions with 5 answer choices • You have 55 minutes to take this sections
Essays • You will get 2 hours and 10 minutes to write three essays • DBQ • Similar the WHAP DBQ, extremely different then APUSH’s. Don’t confuse them • FRQ (2) • There are 2 FRQ sections with 3 choices per section. Choose the one you understand and can wrote the most about. • These essays are the MOST like college essays.
Scoring • MC – 50% of exam • Essays – 50% of exam • The DBQ is worth more than the 2 FRQs • A thesis statement is ESSENTIAL to each of the 3 essays.
