Introduction • My Learning Link is the new Global Schneider Electric tool dedicated to training managementimplemented in order to facilitate training management for all employees at Schneider Electric. • As an employee, My Learning Link will help you to access to the 2014 training plan needs assigned by your manager. You will also be able to request training via the Self services (out of the training plan), be assigned on training by your manager and evaluate session you have attended. • The training plan needs assigned by your manager will be available to you during January 2014 in My Learning Link. • The following training guide aims at helping you for the use of My Learning Link.

Who has access to My Learning Link • My Learning Link is accessible to all employees at Schneider Electric having the following contract: • Open Ended contract (CDI) • Short term contract ( CDD) • Intern & Apprentice • My Learning Link is not accessible to non Schneider Electric employees (Not paid by Schneider Electric): • Consultant • Temporary contract

  6. Access to My Learning Link From the Intranet/ My HR Link You can access directly to My Learning Link by copying the following adress in your browser: https://schneider-electric.csod.com/client/schneider-electric/default.aspx

  7. System login Pre requisite: Open Internet Explorer or a Firefox window. Please do not use the link to "My Learning Link" directly from Lotus Notes Copy/Paste the following link: https://schneider-electric.csod.com/client/schneider-electric/default.aspx To access for the first time, please enter: 1 You Login Name will be your SESA ID  2. If you were hired on or after January 3, 2014, your password will be Welcome1 upon first logging into the system. If you were hired on or before January 2, 2014, your password will be your SESA ID upon first logging into the system. Once you log in, you will be prompted to change your password. If you already connected to My Learning Link and you forgot your password, you can reinitialize it by clicking on the Forgot password link. My Learning Link is accessible anywhere. All you need is an internet connection

Consult your DIF hours counter 1 2 To visualize your DIF counters , go to the tab “Welcome page > My account > My preferences 1.DIF Effective= corresponds to the DIF counter at current day 2.DIF Planned= corresponds to the DIF counter after deduction of DIF hours engaged in future training (The student is enrolled at the session level).

  15. Training Plan The training plan 201X has been built in My Learning Link by your manager and HRBP this year. The approved training requests have been uploaded in My Learning Link. They are available in your training transcript. To see the assigned training plan needs go to your training transcript in : Learning > My courses

  16. Your training needs already in the Training Plan Starting on January 2014, French training plan needs will be uploaded into your transcript. You can easily identify them as they are the ones with the start date at end of December 2014. (A generic date) As previously done, you will be placed on a real session and contacted by PASS during the year. Training Offer in My Learning Link • Via My Learning Link you can access several training catalogues: Academies, Global offers and French offer. • The French training catalog has been integrated in the tool in June 2013 for the launch of the French training plan. At this occasion, the French training offer has been reviewed. All training with less than 10 participants in the previous year were not integrated into My Learning Link. • By consequence, if you don’t find the training you are looking for, you can verify with your HRBP if no equivalent training exits. • Otherwise, you can contact your manager in order to request the creation of a training in the French catalog by filling in the template “Demande de référencement” in the Training intranet.

  22. Search in the catalog 3 1 2 • There are three ways to search for a course in the catalog. • 1 Search for training welcome page • 2 Browse for training • 3 Search box

  23. Search in the catalog 1 2 • You can search per subject (previously called domain) • Then, click on the Go to search link. This screen appears only if you have search for a training with : Learning tab > Search for training (path 1) or Search box (Path 4)

Search in the catalog You can search for a course in the catalog by selecting different training types: • Online class = e-learning • Event = in class training • Curriculum= set of learning objects (event, e-learning, etc) • Test • Material = Academies certification • Video (Not used for the moment) • Certification (Not used for the moment) This screenappears only if you have search for a training with : Search for training welcome page (path 2) and Browse for training (path 3) or after the search by subject (path 1 and 4)

Search in the catalog • Once you have selected the training type, you can search by: • Title • Description • Languages • Subject (domain) • Competency • Location • ILT locator number (Not used for the moment) • Instructor Old Bridge references (e.g.000779) are part of the keywords to facilitate the search. Enter them in the “Title” search field. To see available events in the French catalog, we advise you to always select language French (France) in the language search tab.

  26. Search in the catalog The small icon inform about the training type. Online Class = E-Learning Event = In class training - Previously ADF Curriculum = Set of events or blended learning objects (e.g. online class, event etc..;) = Cursus Example of a search by title : Enter “ Change” in the title field and set available languages to English (US) and/or French (France).

  30. Search for a session 3 1 2 • To browse for a session, first you must find the event (training course) . • Search for an event (Recommended procedure)

  31. Request a “Course waitlist” session 1. When searching for a session look up for the session named “Course waitlist ”. 2. As a manager & employee click on request. We draw your attention to the fact that you shouldn’t retain the dates indicated for these sessions (end of year). These are not real dates, and once enrolled, the employees shall be positioned by the PASS team in a definitive session with a real date. As a manager, please, do not use the functionality “Assign” at this stage. 1 2

  32. Request a “Course waitlist” session 1. Select the purpose of the session. Purpose are training typologieswhich conditions the funding and DIF hours investment. 2. As a employee, then click on request. 1 2 When you select the purpose « DIF 100% » or « Skills development », please verify (Welcome page > My account > Preferences) that you have enough DIF hours available in your DIF counter. In case you do not, please contact your HRBP.

  33. Select session named “Course Waitlist” • The training purpose drop down proposes you to select a typology. This step in mandatory in the system: • Adaptation to job • Company program • Skill development • DIF 100% • - Non French Contract • GPEC - Company program Training purpose drop down New 1 New 2 1. “Non French contract” is a specific typology available for managers having in their team French contract employees and non French contract employees for whom the selection of typology is not mandatory. 2. By default all typologies are affected to regular request budget. To assign a training part of a GPEC program, you must select the typologies: - “GPEC - Company Program”

  34. Request a “Course waitlist” session If the pop-up window does not close, go to the top of this window . An alert message informs you about a conflict schedule in your transcript. This situation is normal as all sessions “Course waitlist” are set up with a date at the end of the year. Click on "yes" to continue.

  35. Request a “Course waitlist” session After submitting, you see the different status of training assignment. APPROVAL PROCESS When requesting a “Course waitlist” session whatever is the typology the manager will have to approve your request. Therefore the status will be pending approval in your transcript. The training status are explained in the annexes

  37. Request a curriculum Search for a curriculum by selecting the Learning Object in the search tab. To access this screen : Welcome page> Search for training

  38. Request a curriculum • To request a curriculum: • 1. Select the training purpose • Purpose are training typologieswhich conditions the funding and DIF hours investment. • 2. Click on request 1 2 Training purpose drop down

  39. Request a curriculum Once requested, the curriculum appears in the active tab of your transcriptwith a training status “Pending approval”.

  40. Curriculum deployment Curriculum are a set of elearning & Instructor Led Training (sessions). When you are registered to a curriculum, you can self select the session to be placed on. Clik on the link “ Open curriculum”

  41. Curriculum deployment Click on activate and on select session In France, always select the session named “Course waitlist"

  44. Request a material Search for a material by selecting the Learning Object in the search tab. Material are certifications delivered by Solutions University academy To access this screen : Welcome page> Search for training

  46. Request a material Once requested, the material appears in the active tab of your transcript with a training status “pending approval”.

  47. FDQ (External Training)

  48. FDQ (External training) • The FDQ training (external training) are not available in the French catalog as they are specific to each participant. Therefore, they will be created by PASS in the system after receiving the mutual engagement & school convention in Doc Connect. • The participant will be assigned on FDQ session directly by PASS.
