  1. Microplastics in the Environment Scientists have recently discovered tiny plastic particles raining down from the sky in a remote mountain location in southern France. It was measured to be about 365 microplastic particles per square meter, in an area treasured for its pristine and clear mountain air. Microplastics have been extensively observed in such environments as our oceans, but we would not normally expect them to be airborne or in remote locations. The reality is that there is no escape from these microplastic pollutants. Whether it is through the air we breathe, the water we drink, or the food we consume, exposure to these tiny plastic particles is inevitable. The question is, how do these tiny plastic particles affect our health? Inside of our body the microplastics are identified by the immune system as foreign objects that should not be in the Rehabilitation Center in Maryland and Traditional Chinese Medical. Initially, the body attempts to discharge the foreign bodies as much as possible, but we have not evolved the mechanisms to deal with plastics. Most of the time, however, the body is unable to process this foreign material and instead decides to quarantine it to prevent any further harm. This is the process in which biofilms develop. Biofilms are generally thought to be an accumulation of microorganisms, but in this case it is the body’s response to microplastics that are creating them. With microorganisms, they produce a self-preserving protective

  2. covering that prevents the immune system from attacking them. In the case of microplastics, the body itself is creating these protective films to isolate the foreign objects. These biofilms then accumulate and create either blockages or other systemic effects, depending on their location. Some of the systemic effects of these biofilms include: obesity, hormonal imbalance, Best Acupuncture in Bethesda, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular disorders, etc. Exposure to microplastics is inevitable. Luckily, Chinese Medicine Near Me offers the perspective and tools to treat the accumulation of biofilms. Utilizing botanical medicine and the body’s innate ability to heal itself via Best Acupuncture in Gaithersburg and gas transmitter therapy, we are able to identify, locate, dissolve and eliminate the accumulation of these biofilms. Not only can Chinese medicine help eliminate these biofilms, but can also bring the body back into balance once they are eliminated. This is how Best Acupuncture in Wheaton MD can be so effective in treating and managing many seemingly difficult symptoms and syndromes.
