Work individually on the warm-up in pen. You may use the same warm up sheet (draw a horizontal line and write today’s date). _______________________________________________________ WARM-UP:

Intro to Functions • DIRECTIONS: • For each problem scenario (#1 - #7), create a table using at least 5 different points. • Then use the table to create an appropriately labeled graph. • Use the table and graph to determine the equation for the function. EXAMPLE: Borders is going out of business, and every book is 50% off. The price you pay is a function of the original price.

  5. Homework • Finish “Intro to Functions” Classwork. • Check that… • each table has at least 5 points. • each graph is appropriate labeled. • Each variable is defined (for example: B = number of books).

  6. Exit Expectations • Return materials to original location, return any borrowed items, and clean up area. • Wait for me to dismiss, not the bell. • Push in chairs before you leave the room.
