NSF Advanced Networking With Minority-Serving Institutions (AN-MSI) • 4 years, $6 million • Started 10/99 – 2 years gone, 2 + 2(?) to go • NSF Director announced at EDUCAUSE 1999 • Three communities • Tribal colleges • Historically Black and Predominantly Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs and PBCUs) • Hispanic-serving institutions

  3. AN-MSI Purpose • Assist with improving: • campus network architecture • Internet connectivity • Campus networker support • Training • Remote technical support • Use of the upgraded networks
