  3. Detailed Project Explanation • 4-8 sentences that explain the project to a newcomer if they have never heard of anything similar before. • What are the core ideas involved? • Why is this project important? • What software is it most similar to?

  7. Sound Design • Include a description of every sound effect used in the game. If there are none because you are creating an application, then you can list none and the points will go towards the core content and practicality of the software. • How many sound effects will you have? • When will each sound effect play? • Will there be any music tracks?

  8. Team Member #1 Name –Tasks • List every task that each team member will complete. Be specific! Include at least one slide per team member at minimum! Here are some examples for an application. • Draw create user interface, including welcome screen, application screen, option panels, etc. Will use reference art to create buttons, dropdowns, and labels. • Ensure user interface hooks up to excel database stored on users hard drive and loads into the appropriate sections. Create and finalize save/load buttons for client/server.

Here are some examples for a game. • Create game engine which involves movement, rotation, gravity, and swinging sword. This includes designing hit boxes, the item system, and enemy artificial intelligence. • Take art assets for characters, enemies, and backgrounds and implement them into the engine. This includes swapping backgrounds for level transitions.
