  1. Presents And This is Life Eternal Part 3 Compiled and Illustrated from The Scriptures & The Spirit of Prophecy April 2014

  2. In part 2 of this study, we learned that The Son of GOD, Who was with GOD from the beginning, He was never subjected to death, because He, Who is Eternal Life was born of GOD, WHO is LIFE. Christ--The Son of GOD was not a partaker of darkness and death, because it is an intruder into The Kingdom of Light and Life. But because of man’s separation from his Source of Light and Life in GOD, man fell into darkness and death by sin. And there appeared to be no hope for man to be restored to Light and Life with GOD, because darkness and death cannot exist with Light and Life. And Light cannot dwell with darkness, without destroying darkness. It was noted that all things were in subjection to GOD’S Son. But because of sin and death, it appeared that death was not yet in subjection to GOD’S Son.

  3. In order to save man, He like Moses, veiled His Expressed glory of The Father, firstly in a Pillar of Cloud, to dwell with the children of Israel, and as Jesus, He was veiled in the form of flesh and blood, that He might be seen of men, and be received by men. Christ, Who is divine with His Father, He also was born again by veiling His divinity in the nature of humanity, that He might destroy the works of the adversary, and set men free by revealing to them The Truth of The Father, WHO reveals The Truth of HIS Word, Whom HE has sent. He--The Son of GOD in human flesh, Testified of The Only True GOD and of Himself, Whom The Father has sent in all ages, even unto the end of the world. But because many could not digest The Truth of His Own Witness of Himself, Who is Invisible to men, the popular belief of men have based their views on a doctrine that denies His atonement with humanity in the fullness of time, to place Him, as a Man in the form of flesh, from the days of eternity.

  4. The Scriptures Testifies of Christ--The Word of GOD, and it reveals that He was with The Father from the beginning, and by Him, GOD--The Father made all things. It testifies throughout its’ pages of GOD working by HIS Word through His prophets, to prepare the way for The Son of GOD to fulfill The Promise of His coming, to dwell among men, which means that He was not yet of flesh and blood. John testified that He was in the world, which He created. He came to His Own, but they received Him not, because they did not know Him. But in the fullness of time, He became one with man, firstly as a man, and secondly, He partook and tasted death for every man. He did not remained in death. For He made death to be in subjection to Him by overcoming darkness and death, to rise again to Life and Light. As Christ Jesus overcame death, to give Eternal Life to those, who will receive Him, John testified of Him and said…

  5. “But as many as received him, to them gave hepowerto become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12, 13).

  6. Notice that all, who will receive Christ Jesus, He will gave to them His Power, to become the sons of God, even to those, who will believed on His name. They are called out of the world, to be given unto Him, as His children. These children are they that are born of The Seed of The Word of GOD. Those, who received and believed on Him. Those, who received and believed on Christ Jesus, they were all partakers of flesh and blood. But they are to be born again… But not of blood. Not of the will of the flesh. Not of the will of man. But of The Will of GOD. It was through His Testimony with Nicodemus, that Jesus revealed the need, to partake of His Spirit, to become the sons of God. John said…

  7. “There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, exceptGod bewith him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a manbe born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born ofwater and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:1-5).

  8. “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and thatwhich is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit” (John 3:6-8).

  9. Notice that Nicodemus said to Jesus that we know that You are a Teacher come from GOD: for no man can do these miracles that You do, except GOD be with him. Nicodemus Jesus said to him… Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Even though Nicodemus said they knew that Jesus came from GOD, he said…. “How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?” Like many of us, who are born into this world, to partake of flesh and blood, we must also be born of The Spirit, to see The Kingdom of GOD. But because many cannot see the Spiritual things of GOD, Paul said…

  10. “…their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [vail] is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:14-18).

  11. Notice that Christ--The Word of GOD is The Lord--That Holy Spirit, Who is The Expressed Glory of The LORD, WHO sent Him. He laid down His robe of Glory, to be born again, and partake also of the veil of flesh and blood, to become The Man Christ Jesus, Who is The Spirit of Life in the flesh of man. He said to Nicodemus that a man must be born again to see The Kingdom of GOD. Nicodemus Jesus said… Except a man be born of waterandof The Spirit, he cannot enter into The Kingdom of GOD. That, which is born of the flesh is flesh. That, which is born of The SPIRIT is Spirit. Notice what was said to Mary about The Son of GOD, Who is Spirit, but also came down from heaven, to be born into this world, to be of flesh and blood. Luke wrote of the angel’s message to Mary and said,

  12. “And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Sonof the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore alsothat holy thingwhich shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:30-35).

  13. Notice that Mary conceived in her womb, and brought forth The Holy One, Whose Name is called JESUS. He, being Great, He is called The Son of The Highest. Of His kingdom there will be no end. The Holy Ghost came to her, and He--The Power of The Highest did overshadow her to be born by her, to also become The Son of Man, Who had made a way to partake of the nature of flesh and blood. He--The Power of GOD, Who made all things, including man and woman, He gave to man, His Gift of Life. But after man was led to sin, He--The Son of GOD gave to man The Promise of The Seed, Who would come to save man from his sin. John testified of Him and said….

  14. “He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. He that hath receivedhis testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whomGod hath sentspeaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure [unto him]. The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth notthe Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:31-36).

  15. Notice that He--The Word of GOD, Whom The Father has sent, He speaks The Words of GOD to men. But no man have seen and heard, or received His Testimony of The Father, Who sent Him. Nicodemus It is said… He that comes from above is above all. He that is of the earth is earthly, and speaks of the earth. He that comes from heaven is above all. And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no man received His testimony. He that has received His Testimony has set to his seal that GOD is True. For He, Whom GOD has sent speaks the words of GOD: for GOD gives not The Spirit by measure unto Him. Notice that Jesus is Himself born of GOD. He is The Word of GOD, Who came down from heaven, and became flesh and blood, to Manifest, The Father’s Glory to men. It was He, Who revealed GOD’S Words to men through the prophets. Notice what this is revealing to us of Him.

  16. The Son of GOD, Who is GOD He, Whom GOD has sent speaks the words of GOD: for GOD gives not The Spirit by measure unto Him. He spoke to the prophets. Sent HIS Word, Who Speaks HIS Words. The Word and Spirit of GOD Notice that The Son of GOD is The Word of GOD, Who is The Angel of HIS PRESENCE, Who was sent to speak HIS Will to the prophets. It is said… As The Son of GOD was clothed with The Expressed Glory of The Father, He could not dwell among men, who were in darkness to The Spiritual Things of GOD. To dwell among men, who were separated from GOD in sin, He took upon Himself the nature of man and veiled His divinity in humanity. It is said,

  17. “Jesus might have remained at the Father's side. He might have retained the glory of heaven, and the homage of the angels. But He chose to give back the scepter into the Father's hands, and to step down from the throne of the universe, that He might bring light to thebenighted, and life to the perishing. Nearly two thousand years ago, a voice of mysterious import was heard in heaven, from the throne of God, "Lo, I come." "Sacrifice and offering Thou wouldest not, but a body hast Thou preparedMe. . . . Lo, Icome (in the volume of the Book it is written ofMe,) to do Thy will, O God." Heb. 10:5-7. In these words is announced the fulfillment of the purpose that had been hidden from eternal ages. Christ was about to visit our world, and to become incarnate. He says, "A body hast Thou preparedMe." Had He appeared with the glory that was His with the Father before the world was, we could not have endured the light of His presence. That we might behold it and not be destroyed, the manifestation ofHisglory was shrouded. His divinity was veiled with humanity,--the invisible glory in the visible human form.” (The Desire of Ages 22, 23)

  18. He--The Son of GOD--The Word of GOD prepared The Way through the prophets for Himself to come and dwell among men. He said, “Lo, I come: in the volume of the Book it is written of Me” John testified that What He has seen and heard, that He has Testified, but no man has received His Testimony. He that has received His Testimony has set to his seal that GOD is True. Notice what Isaiah said of Christ--The Word of GOD, Who came unto him. He said,

  19. “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem himstricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with hisstripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:1-5).

  20. Notice that Isaiah was concerned that there would be none, who would believe the report that he and others would give of The Arm of The LORD. Why did Isaiah have this thought? Because of what He--The Word of GOD had revealed to him, of the suffering that He--The Arm of The LORD would receive. Isaiah saw that He--The Arm of The LORD would be despised and rejected of men, because they would not receive Him, as The Arm of The LORD. Isaiah was one of the prophets through whom Christ--The Word of GOD had revealed His Testimony, of What He has seen and heard of GOD, to be made known to the hearts of men. Notice what Paul said about Christ--The Son of GOD, Who made Himself of no reputation, to become human, to grow up among His Own brethren among men. Paul said,

  21. “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form ofGod, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon himthe form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men” (Philippians 2:5-7 KJV). One version has translated these words to say… “For let this mind be in you which [was] also in Christ Jesus; who, subsisting in the form ofGod, did not esteem it an object of rapine to be on an equality with God; but emptied himself, taking a bondman's form, taking his place in [the] likeness of men” (Philippians 2:5-7 Darby Ver.).

  22. Notice that the word “made” in the phrase “made himself” is taken from the Greek word “kenoo”(Gk 2758)--meaning to “make void”. But the meaning comes from a root word “kenos” (Gk 2756), which has the same meaning as “vain” or “empty”. With the root word having the meaning of being “vain” or “empty”, then by saying that Christ “emptied himself” to take the form of a servant, the question could be raised, saying, Into what did Christ emptied Himself? Christ Jesus has revealed through His servant David, that He comes in the volume of The Book. Isaiah said, Who has believed our report? And through John, He revealed that The Scriptures Testify of Him. Jesus has revealed through John that It is The Spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: The Words that He spoke through His prophets and by His disciples, they are Spirit, and they are life. He emptied Himself into those, who received Him. If The Words that He spoke unto His servants, who received His Spirit and His life, to bear witness of Him, Paul said of Him,

  23. “…as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the thingswhich God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep thingsofGod. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of manwhich is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, notthe spirit of the world, butthe spirit which is of God; that we might knowthe things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, butwhich the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual” (1 Corinthians 2:9-13).

  24. “But the natural manreceiveth notthe things of the Spiritof God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we havethe mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:14-16).

  25. Notice that John revealed What he received of The Word of GOD, Who Testified to him of What He has seen and heard of GOD. Although it is written, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”, Paul has testified of GOD, and has made it known to us that God has revealed the things, which no eye have seen, nor ear have heard. GOD has made The Deep things of HIM known to the hearts of those, who love HIM and HIS Word. For Paul said that HE has revealed Them unto us by HIS Spirit: for The Spirit searches all Things, yea, The Deep Things of GOD. As Isaiah questioned Who has believed their report, Paul has asked the question, Who has known The Mind of The Lord, that He may instruct him? But we have The Mind of Christ. When Paul said that we are to let The Mind of Christ be in us, Christ Jesus had already Testified to John and said that His Words are Spirit and they are Life. He also revealed and said,

  26. “For God so loved the world, that he gavehis only begotten Son, that whosoeverbelieveth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believethnot is condemned already, because he hath notbelieved in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18). As The Son of GOD is The Bread of Life, Jesus said,… “For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world” (John 6:33).

  27. Moses also testified of The Word of GOD, Who spoke through him to the children of Israel and said,… “Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of mymouth. Mydoctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: Because I will publishthe name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. [He is] the Rock, hiswork [is] perfect: for all his ways [are] judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right [is] he” (Deuteronomy 32:1-4).

  28. Isaiah testified of The Word, Who gave Himself to men. He said,… “For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire him.” “He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: byhisknowledge shall my righteous servantjustify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors” (Isaiah 53:2, 11, 12).

  29. Notice the reason why it took generations before The Son of GOD could come and dwell among men. He poured out Himself--His Life to those, whose hearts were open to receive Him, and bear witness of Him. Divinity veiled by His humanity HE gave HIS Only Begotten Son, Who is Invisible to men, to give Light and Life to the world. Jesus grew up in the knowledge of Himself The Natural things seen by man The Spiritual Things unseen by men GOD But the world received not GOD’S Word, Whom HE has sent. Sent HIS Word, to reveal HIM And His disciples received Him In receiving The Life of Jesus, as a Child among men, Luke testified of how He was restoring to His Own Mind the things that He Himself had revealed to His prophets before hand. Luke said of His earthly parents

  30. “…when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth. And the child grew, and waxedstrong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace ofGod was upon him. Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not [of it]. But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among [their] kinsfolk and acquaintance. And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him” (Luke 2:39-45).

  31. “And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished athis understanding and answers. And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father'sbusiness? And they understood notthe sayingwhich he spakeunto them. And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayingsin her heart. And Jesusincreased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man” (Luke 2:46-52).

  32. Notice that at the age of twelve, Jesus was as a child, Who grew, and waxed strong in Spirit, being filled with The Wisdom, He Himself had given before taking the form of flesh and blood. The testimony given was that the grace of GOD was upon Him. Notice that when the earthly parents of Jesus lost sight of Him they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. The doctors that taught the people of The Scriptures, they were astonished at His understanding of The Scriptures and of His answers to them, for He was doing the business of His Father, WHO sent Him. Even though at the age of twelve, Jesus was growing strong in Spirit, and of The Wisdom He had prepared in generations before hand, He was subjected to His earthly parents, who performed all things according to the law of The Lord, Who gave it to men. Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. He grew until the time came, to begin His Father’s business. It is said...

  33. “Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God cameunto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins; As it is writtenin the book ofthe words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice ofone crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight” (Luke 3:2-4). “As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send mymessenger before thyface, which shall prepare thy way before thee” (Mark 1:2). “And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?” (John 1:19-22).

  34. “He said, I [am] the voice ofone crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one amongyou, whom ye know not; He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose” (John 1:23-27). “I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee…” (Mark 1:8, 9). “…to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to bebaptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it to be so] now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him”(Matthew 3:13-15).

  35. “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavenswere opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of Goddescending likea dove, and lighting upon him. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:16, 17). “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferredbefore me: for he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spiritdescendingfrom heavenlike a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spiritdescending, and remaining on him, the same is he whichbaptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God” (John 1:30-36).

  36. The Word--The Spirit of The LORD spoke by Isaiah, who testified of His baptism, and said, “And the LORD shall cause hisglorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm…” (Isaiah 30:30). The Word, Who is The Spirit--The Arm of The LORD, He was in The Veil of Flesh, as Jesus--The Hand. Ellen G. White said of His baptism…

  37. “Many had come to him [John] to receive the baptism of repentance, confessing their sins. . . . Christ came not confessing His ownsins, but guilt was imputed to Him as thesinner'ssubstitute. He came not to repent on His own account, but in behalf of the sinner. . . . Christ honored the ordinance of baptism by submitting to this rite. In this act HeidentifiedHimself with His people as their representative and head. As their substitute He takes upon Him their sins, numbering Himself with the transgressors, taking the steps the sinner is required to take, and doing the workthe sinner must do. . . . After Christ rose up from the water. . . . He walked out to the bank of Jordan and bowed in the attitude of prayer. . . . As the believer's example, Hissinless humanity supplicated support and strength from Hisheavenly Father, as He was about to commence His public labor as the Messiah. . . . Never before had angels listened to such a prayer as Christ offered at His baptism, and they were solicitous to be the bearers of the messagefromthe Father to His Son. But, no! Direct from the Father issues the light of His glory.”

  38. “The heavens were opened and beams of glory rested upon the Son of God and assumed the form of a dove, in appearance like burnished gold. The dovelike form was emblematical of the meekness and gentleness of Christ. . . . From the opening heavens came these words: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." . . . Notwithstanding the Son of God was clothed with humanity, yet Jehovah, with His ownvoice, assures Him of His sonshipwiththe Eternal. In this manifestation to His Son, God accepts humanity as exalted through the excellence of Hisbeloved Son. Christ's prayer on the banks of the Jordan includes everyonewho will believe in Him. The promise that you are accepted in the Belovedcomes to you. God said, "This is mybeloved Son, in whomI am well pleased." . . . Christ has cleaved the way for you to the throne of the infinite God.” (That I Might Know Him, Page 31)

  39. Notice that according to John’s testimony, The Word of GOD came unto him in the wilderness. It was by Him that John was sent to preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, according to the words that are written in the book of the prophet Esaias. John testified that he was the voice of someone, Who sent him to prepare The Way of The Lord, to make His paths straight. For it is written in the prophets, who testified of The Word of GOD, Who came to them and said, “I send MY Messenger before Thy Face, which shall prepare Thy Way before Thee.” John confessed that he was not The Christ, nor was he the prophet Esaias, and neither was he The Prophet, Whom The Word of GOD give The Promise, to raise up in the midst, and dwell among the brethren of the children of Israel, to be like unto His servant Moses. John confessed that he was voicing The Word of GOD, Who came to him, and sent him to prepare The Way of The Lord, Who would baptize the people with The Holy Ghost. According to the written word of the prophets, The Lord was in the midst among the brethren of the people.

  40. According the testimony of The Word of GOD, Who came to John, John said of Him, saying, “He that sent me to baptize with water, The Same said unto me, Upon Whom you shall see The Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, The Same is He, Which baptizes with The Holy Ghost. Although John was six months older than Jesus, he testified that He, Who would come after him, He was preferred, or He came into existence before him. And John testified to this Truth that Jesus was before him. When Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, to be baptized of John, he testified that he knew Him not. It was after the baptism of Jesus that John testified of What he saw, according to The Word of GOD, Who came unto him. It was after Jesus was baptized with water with all the people, that it came to pass that, as He was praying, the heaven was open unto Him. And The Holy Spirit, Who speaks GOD’S Word, He descended upon Him and remained upon Him. The Same Voice, Who spoke to the prophets of old, and also became Flesh and Blood, The Father said by HIS Word, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

  41. The Word of GOD came unto John and revealed to him what to look for of Him, Who would baptize with The Holy Spirit. John testified and bore witness that he saw The Spirit of GOD descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon Jesus. And he knew that He was The Son of GOD--The Lamb, Who would take away the sin of the world. Notice that the beams of glory that rested upon The Son of GOD, and assumed the form of a dove in appearance, it was emblematical, or it was representing the meekness and gentleness of Christ, or of His Spirit. Notice that Christ's prayer on the banks of the Jordan includes everyone who will believe in Him. The promise that we are accepted in the Beloved comes to us. For He has poured out His Life to all, who will receive His Mind in them. As an Example to us all, He has revealed that His Spirit has been poured out into all, who will receive Him. For He was made like unto men, who could receive His Life, Which was poured out to all, who would receive Him, to become like Him. End of Part 3
