  3. Day 1 (Monday, May 19, 2008) • Perry and I leave our house at three o’clock in the MORNING, so we can drive to Dallas in time to catch our flight at 10:15 am!!! The pilot got sleepy and asked me to take the wheel for a while. Perry Round trip flight for the two of us cost $1,550.36. http://www.drchamber.com/media/continentalplane.jpg

Day 2 (Tuesday, May 20, 2008) • Arrived in Zürich at 8:50 am; slept on the plane and at the New York airport (where our four hour layover was) • Bought two Swiss Saverpasses so that to take the Swiss train anywhere in Switzerland • Checked into the Guest House Kafischnaps ($137.58 total) • Inexpensive café for breakfast • Hired 2 City Bikes for free , explored Old Town • Lunch at small, crowded café • Migros Museum of Contemporary Art ($7.60 total) • Dinner at Burgwies for fondu • Hotel time (jet lag kicking in MAJORLY) http://www.iswc.ethz.ch/zurich-main.jpg

Day 3 (Wednesday, May 21, 2008 • Wake up early to catch train to Basel and find small café for breakfast • Tour the Cathedral (refer to brochure) for free • Grab quick bite at café • Guided tour ($14.25 total), exploring Basel’s urban and cultural development • Dinner at Wanderruh • Visit Schiezer Chocolate Shop for dessert, bring back suveniers ($50 total) • Walk down the Pfaz (terrace) overlooking Old Town, chat with locals • Check in and spend night at Alexander Hotel ( $120.35) http://www.aratours.ch/images/basel1.jpg

  16. Podcast La Suisse est belle. Les montagnes sont grandes vertes en été. En hiver, il neige. La couleur blanche est partout. Tu peux faire du ski, tu peux faire du surf des neiges, et tu peux faire une marche. Tu peux rencontrer des gens suisss et vous pouvez aller à pied à la campagne. Tu peux regarder des maisons historiques. Tu peux regarder lex beaux jardins bleus, violets, et roses. Tu peux danser avec les chèvres. Tu peux visiter les musées d’art. Tu peux lire un bon livre sure un jour ensoleillé près des grands montagnes. Tu peux voyager les rues de Grindelwald et regarder les gens.
