Overview • Procedure of developing the training modules • Constraints, Discussions, Revisions • Methods to acquire input from other WPs • Current state: • 2 modules publicly available, 1 of which in 2nd revision process • 1 module to large extent available, presented at final conference • 1 other module still work in progress • Description of modules • ToDos: Ongoing discussions regarding sustainability
Procedure of developing the training modules • Collection of material on topic • External sources • DASISH work / results • Development of draft structure • Distribution of chapter responsibilities among WP7 partners • One author and one reviewer for each chapter • WP internal review process (for PID module in cooperation with WP5) • Transfer into OpenCMS • Review within DASISH and the ESFRIs/ERICs • Publication on DASISH website (training section) DASISH final conference Gothenburg, 27.11.2014

Training module on Access Policies and Licensing • First version publicly available in April 2013 • Target groups:researchers, decision makers in research institutions, data archivists • First revision in Fall 2013 • Currently under intensive revision and restructuring • Simplify structure • Clarify importance for different target groups • New working title: Data archiving and licensing • Topics: • Introduction into Data Archiving and Licensing • Comparison of existing license schemes • Effect of Data Sharing on data creation, submission and preservation • Implications of sensitive data for Data Sharing • Possibilities to support data producers and re-users in sharing and re-using data
Training module on Authentication and Authorization Infrastructures • First version publicly available in February 2014 • Target groups:researchers, decision makers in research institutions, data archivists • Intensive revision already during creation phase (feedback from WP5, CLARIN and DARIAH) • Topics: • Introduction into AAI • Introduction to Federated Identity Management and Authorization Management • Examples of AAI in SSH communities • Technical challenges solutions and standards used DASISH final conference Gothenburg, 27.11.2014

Training module on Persistent Identifiers • First version demonstrated in November 2014 here on final conference • Target groups:researchers, decision makers in research institutions, data archivists • Several feedback loops with members from DASISH Task 5.2 • Currently 3 chapters online, more to come in next two weeks • Topics: • Introduction into Persistent Identifiers • Comparison of existing PID services • Examples of PID policies and use in SSH communities DASISH final conference Gothenburg, 27.11.2014
