  2. Main Characters • This character is dynamic and round because he changes his personality a lot and he has many character traits. • This character is static and flat because she stays her calm self the whole story and she is flat because she has a few character traits. Grandson Grandmother

  3. Setting This story has a couple of settings but the main one is in a hotel called the Hotel Magnificent which is in a town called Norway.

  4. Conflict • The conflict in the story is that all the witches in Norway are making a formula to make all the children in Norway turn into rats. The type of conflict is Man vs. Man because it is a boy who is trying to stop the Grand High Witch and her assistants from turning every kid into a rat. The resolution is that the boy and grandmother teams up to turn the witches into rats and the accomplished their goal.

  5. Prediction • My prediction in the book was that the grandmother was a witch herself. But my prediction was wrong because she was not a witch.
