Mr. Stevenson He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and attended what is now Woodward. After going to UGA he joined the army. He was in infantry at first but later went to parachute and jumping school. He hated this and soon switched to flight school. He flew Hueys in Vietnam and had many interesting stories. He told one funny story about falling in the “toilet.” He also know Mad Dog, which was very impressive.
Mr. Weinig Mr. Weinig was in the Air Force and flew A-1 sky raiders. He flew 255 missions in Vietnam. His primary mission was close air support for SOG forces. His secondary mission was to prepare the rescue area. He was stationed in Laos. He flew 19 out of 20 years while in the Air Force. He described how he was treated badly when he arrived back in the U.S.
