  4. Program Managers eToolkit ($730K) 852 VP:Enhanced Training by providing point of need training, infrastructure and knowledge assets that support effective decisions. Web enable and link the present DAU paper based PM Toolkit; and provide a “tool chest” of job aids for program managers and their team. Job aids will help develop dozens of required plans, assess program health, and make difficult decisions – helping to provide the war fighters and logisticians with the best weapons and supports systems affordable, within budgets provided by Congress. DAU ES: 1.2.1, 3.2.1 Tasks:(see detailed schedule at https://acc.dau.mil/pmet) • Perform analysis of paper-based PM Tool Kit Content • Create a Functional Format and Web Location for Posting PM e-Tool Kit • Support a critical evaluation of the e-Toolkit Alpha Version by the Knowledge Providers Network, etc • Identify e-Tool Kit elements which need development as discrete Performance Learning Tools (PLTs) • Develop PLT development schedules and incorporate into the overall e-Tool Kit Master Schedule • Develop an “On-Call” Support and Help-Desk Response Capability • Develop a PM e-Toolkit on-line tutorial and tour application Execution: 1. SoW: Developed and Contractor’s draft proposal reviewed and approved 2. Funds: $730,000 MIPR’d to Fedlearn on 12 December 2008 3. On Contract: 17 December 2008 4. PoP: 199 days (17 December 2008 – 30 September 2009 (Phase 1)) 5. Status: On schedule – Initial Project Tasks Definition and Planning Meeting held 15 January 2009 - PWS and PMP reconciliation review completed 16 Feb 2009 - PMP finalized and submitted 20 Feb 2009 - PMeT content analysis (first cut) and chunking completed 02/28/09 6. What Is It? • Major Program Toolkit expanding upon DAU’s paper based PM Toolkit (14th Edition) • Focus on tools to support MDAPs but also good for all PMOs, all ACATs • Separate tools for all required Plans and Analysis Documents • Web enable all major Guidebooks and Handbooks and convert to performance learning tools, linked to ACQuipedia articles

Best Practices Clearinghouse/DAU Multimedia Library Integration ($580K) 852 VP: Provide to the DoD Acquisition worker, at their point of need, 24/7, training and performance support systems and knowledge assets to support making effective decisions. This project seeks to appropriately integrate multimedia assets as supporting evidence for identified best practices in the BPCh system, and to provide a more streamlined, usable interface for both repositories that aids workforce users in finding information in both systems so that they can provide war fighters and logisticians with the best weapons and supports systems affordable, within budgets provided by Congress. DAU ES: 1.3.2, 1.4.1, 3.1.1, 3.2.2 Tasks: 1. Analyze/reorganize all existing BPCh and DAU Multimedia Library (MML) content 2. Establish a detailed MML asset lifecycle management for development of BPCh and DAU MML 3. Enhance current BPCh interface for embedding/linking to supporting content from DAU MML 4. Establish (if possible) a “within-video” search overlay function in DAU MML and BPCh 2.0 5. Ensure interoperability and compatibility with the Qumu VCC, AKMS and other DAU asset repositories 6. Enhance BPCh and MML content with focus on PM, Req Mgmt, LOG and HCI topic areas 7. Recommend automated transcription solution for video/audio content 8. Develop/support a BPCh 2.0 and DAU MML Outreach and Communications Plan 9. Develop new BPCh 2.0 online tutorials, virtual tour and help/wiki files Execution: 1. SoW: completed 1 Dec 08 2. Funds: MIPR sent to GSA $580K on 12 Dec 08 3. On Contract: 17 Dec 08 4. PoP: 17 Dec 08 to 30 Sep 10 5. Status: 5. Status: On schedule, Initial planning meeting held on 25-Feb w/ all project principals in attendance; DAU LADS Deputy PM (K.Byrd) and CSC LADS PM (K.Valdez) coordinating final drafts of PWS and PMP for BPCh/MLI integration during week of 2-March; anticipate starting initial analysis and development tasks on BPCh/MLI project week of 16-March.
