The HL7 Mobile Health Security Subgroup is committed to addressing the critical security concerns surrounding mobile health technologies, particularly focusing on Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) practices. This initiative includes maintaining a comprehensive Wiki with Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for product developers, publishing an annual FAQ document, and hosting expert sessions to discuss vital security topics. Monthly meetings provide a platform for investigating user authentication, device management, and legal issues related to protected health information (PHI). Contributions from both US and international members are welcomed.
