  1. The Consequences Stages 1-3 Stages 1 and 2 you will be given verbal warnings as before and the opportunity to change your behaviour. At stage 3 you will be given a 10 minute detention as now Stage 4 If you continue to disrupt and are parked, a 30 minute detention will be issued Stage 5 If you refuse to be parked or disrupt the lesson in which you are parked, on call will remove you to isolation and issue a 1 hour detention.

  2. Detentions Detentions will be held after school each day Detentions will be held in the hall and you must get yourself there You will complete your detention the day after you have been given it If you are given more than one 10 minute detention in a day, they will accumulate, i.e. 2 = 20 mins, 3 = 30 mins etc. If you are given five 10 minute detentions in a day, then you will serve an hour!

  3. Registration If you are 10 minutes late or persistently late with no appropriate reason then you will be given a 10 minute detention by your tutor Uniform If you are not in the correct uniform without a note from a parent or carer or permission from your Progress Manager, then your tutor will give you a 10 minute detention or you could be put into isolation.

  4. Truancy: • Up to 30 minutes late, a 10 minute detention will be • issued. • If you truant an entire lesson or walk out of a lesson • a 1 hour detention will be issued. • Out of class behaviour: • If you do not follow instructions given to you out of class (e.g. at break time or between classes) you will be given a 10 minute detention.

  5. Pupils who fail to attend detentions • Failure to attend or complete a 10 minute detention will result in a further 10 minutes added to the next day i.e. 10 min becomes 20 min etc • Failure to attend or complete a 30 minute detention will result in a 1 hour detention the following day • Failure to attend or compete a 1 hour detention will result in a half day in isolation plus the detention will need to be served that day • Failure to complete isolation and the 1 hour will result in an exclusion of 1 day

  6. Reports • There is a new report card • You can be on report for: • behaviour, attendance, lack of progress • You can be on report to: • Subject Teacher; Tutor; Progress Manager; SLT • Your report is to be signed by the person you are reporting to each morning and by your parent / carer each evening • Your report is your responsibility and if you lose it you will be given a 10 minute detention
