  5. How to get to Tokyo I will be taking a plane as transportation to my destination. The distance from Pittsburgh ,Pennsylvania to Tokyo , Japan is 6,617 miles. I will be leaving Pittsburgh, Pa at 8:00 and will be arriving to Tokyo, Japan at 5:14. The total cost for my transportation is going to be $850 being the highest and $350 being the lowest .   9. What to pack for Tokyo ?? Lightweight pants, jeans, skirts and short-sleeved tops. Shorts are inappropriate for both men and women. Closed-toe sandals and comfortable walking shoes that are easy to get on and off. Also an umbrella. Plenty of cash and traveler's checks, since credit cards are only accepted in limited venues.
