Empowering Out-of-School Youth through Mobile Alternative Education Initiatives

The Active Network of Alternative Education, led by esteemed educators Sergio Peña, Ph.D., and Romano Santillan, Ph.D., aims to provide educational opportunities for out-of-school youth. Harnessing a fleet of 10 vans, this initiative will mobilize to reach underserved areas and offer alternative learning resources, including books, notebooks, and pens. Launched in 2007 with a single van, this project seeks to ensure that every child has access to education, regardless of their financial situation. For updates, visit www.activenetwork.com.
