  5. Install Livescribe • Go to Livescribe.com/install • Choose a platform. It immediately begins downloading and then installing. Watch where it is being downloaded • If you receive a message to update Adobe Air, continue and update.

  6. Create Your Account • Close out of the install page • LivescribeConnect will come up – Close • Authorize Livescribe Desktop – CREATE Account

  7. Register Your Pen • Plug in your pen • Name the pen • If you are prompted to update, click download and install.

  8. Let’s Get Started • “Getting Started Booklet” (page 2) • Set the locale -Language • Set the display orientation – right or left • Set Time and Date • Replace the Pen for the Stylus • “Starter Notebook”Activity • Do the activity on page 4in your starter notebook or the pamphlet • Play and Explore

  9. Create and Share • Create an activity that you plan to use in your classroom Or • Create a question that you might use to assess a students understanding. Work alone or with a partner. Everyone can share their ideas.
