  3. Opening hours • Monday- Friday GRI 9.00-5.00 Stobhill 08.30-4.45 WIG 08.30-5.00 GGH 08.45-5.00 • Saturday All 09.00-12.00 • Sunday GRI 09.00-12.00 Out of hours: Oncall pharmacist through switchboard

  15. YOU ARE THE LAST CHECKER !!!-Discharge Medication Check- • COMPARE WITH KARDEXas items can have been: • MISSED when copied from kardex to script • STOPPED or • ADDED since writing of prescription

  16. Medicines management • Some wards have a service called medicines management run by pharmacy technicians • Patients own medicines are used in this service • Drugs are stored in lockers beside each patients’ bed instead of drug trolleys • You will be given specific training on this service if you work on a medicines management ward
