  6. What I did continued.. • Meeting with Woodward Communications VP • Discuss potential investment interest • Early in PLC • Need more sales • Online Ads • LinkedIn • 5 Variations

  7. Results • One placement • Few more in hiring process • Revenue $1425 • Costs $197.81

  8. Pivots • Not any major pivots • Switch from matchmaking site to job board & recruitment site

  9. Lessons Learned • Be prepared/ready for everything • Need sales before any outside help • Online ads are expensive & not effective • Have a contact regarding payment and time • Online applications not highest quality • More direct contact with clients

  10. Final Canvas • Changes to: • Channels - Central Career Center • Revenue Streams - No ads on website • Customer Segments – Logistics companies change to recruiters

  11. What’s next? • Focus more time on contacting prospective employees • Go to trade show • Hundreds of contacts • Put more towards marketing expenses • Variety • Continue this summer working on site
