  2. Background • EO 1033 requires periodic GE Program review • Cal Poly has never done a GE Program Review • WASC has suggested that we evaluate our GE Program

GE Committee has created a plan • Highlights: • Self Study written by committee beginning ASAP • Will solicit input from those who teach GE • Committee will have this single task because of GE class moratorium • Plan is to complete work in AY 2010/2011 • Includes visit by evaluators/response to their report • Program review comes to Senate, as any review
