  1. A Proper Final Statement In the laboratory activity, we used the electron configuration to show how elements with the same number of electrons in the sublevel are placed in the same columns. (This statements defines the purpose of the activity and the results in one comprehensive statement). Both oxygen and sulfur ended with a p4 and are shown in the results in the same column. (A specific example used from the data table used to support the first sentence.) In order to further support this trend, the electron configuration of Se and Te should also end with a p4. For example Se34 electron configuration is [Ar] 4s2 3d10 4p4 . This
