  1. 13 September 2011 Fetcham Netball Club Newsletter Season 2011 / 2012 Hello everyone,  The season is now underway and hope everyone is happy in their teams and raring to go! Also I hope you all like the newsletter, and that it will work as a great communication tool for the club. Any comments or suggestions, please let me or Becca know, or your captains so that they can raise it at the committee meeting.   2. Season 2011 / 2012 Teams for this Season Kingston A – Captain Kelly Townshend Team: Alison Wates, Debbie Reynolds, Hannah Law, Nicola Numa, Kelly Townshend, Jude Turner, Kelly Britnell. Kingston B – Captain Mary Denyer Team: Clare Goddard, Lois Brent, Emma Strong, Caroline Sweeby, Linda Scrase, Mary Denyer. Surrey A – Captain Gill Preston Team: Gill Preston, Hazel Mead, Rebecca Scrase, Beth Townend, Emma Williams, Janice Matthews, Julia Williams. Surrey B – Captain TBC Team: Alison Wates, Debbie Reynolds, Hannah Law, Nicola Numa, Kelly Townshend, Jude Turner, Kelly Britnell, Clare Goddard, Lois Brent, Emma Strong, Caroline Sweeby, Linda Scrase, Mary Denyer, Alison Watkins.   3. New Club Posts As agreed at the AGM we are asking for club members to volunteer for the 3 new official roles. For this season the committee will vote to determine who will fulfil the role. Going forward the roles will be open for nominations at the next AGM. Please let Becca know if you would like to volunteer for any of the roles. SURREY B TEAM We are asking anyone from the Kingston A & B teams to volunteer to manage the Surrey B Team. The responsibilities would include: Organising a team & reserve for each match, choosing a captain for each match, informing team of venue, time etc, ensuring someone can arrange refreshments for home matches, confirm with umpire, check someone has the kit bag, make sure the captain has a result form. Tour Manager We are asking for anyone in the club to volunteer to arrange the club’s tour at the end of the season. Further details on request. Summer League Co-ordinator We are asking for anyone in the club to volunteer to arrange the summer league. Match Results Surrey A v Weybridge Vandals A Saturday 10th September POM from Weybridge Vandals – JUDE POM from Fetcham – JUDE, HAZEL & BETH Social Events Sarah’s 30th Birthday Party Friday 7th October 7pm-11.30pmFriends Life function room,  Dorking.There will be nibbles, a band and a cash bar.Fancy dress theme is 'S'Please let Sarah know if you can make it as she has to give the venue a list of attendees and if your name is not on the list, you will not be let in.  Celebrations Happy Birthday to Hazel for Wednesday 14th September Happy Birthday to Gill for Thursday 29th September www.fetchamnetballclub.co.uk

Middlesex County Netball Association • 75th Anniversary Festival • Sunday 18th September 2011 • Brunel University Sports Ground, Kingston Lane, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 3PH • Tournament Times and Registration • All teams and umpires must report to the Officials Table by 9.00am. • Games start at 9.30am sharp. • The tournament will finish 4.00pm approx. with a presentation to the winning teams. • Playing schedule, Umpire schedule and scorecards to be collected at Registration. • Venue • Parking is limited. Please car share wherever possible. Extra parking is available at the Sports Park on the main University Campus, also on Kingston Lane. • Umpires • All umpires must hold a minimum C Award qualification • Player Registration Form • Teams must fully complete the enclosed player registration form and hand in on the day of the tournament to the Registration Table. • Talented players who are U16 • Please note Regulation 2 and the special regulation regarding Age Banding and Talented Players. Written permission must be attached to the Registration Form. • Amenities • Toilets and Changing rooms. • Porky and Best Hog Roast • Maybury Sports • Vending Machines. • Team camps must be set up outside the netball courts fences to ensure safe and unrestricted access to the playing areas. • Please let Becca know if you would like more information and an application form. www.fetchamnetballclub.co.uk
