Fostering Community Identity Through Arts and Culture: Insights from Creative Stakeholders

This report synthesizes insights from various discussions, surveys, and interviews conducted with artists, educators, nonprofit arts, and cultural institutions, highlighting themes of community identity, connectivity, voice, and sustainability. Engaging with over 500 participants, including focus groups and roundtables, we explore how creative workers and public sector representatives envision the role of the arts in enhancing community well-being. The findings emphasize the importance of imagination and cultural investment in building vibrant, sustainable communities, supported by data from multiple sources.
