This initial report presents findings from the Repository Of Assessment Documents (ROAD) process. Students upload writing samples, which are then randomly selected and scored by reviewers based on a rubric. The report examines characteristics such as age, GPA, completed hours, ACT scores, ethnicity, and gender in relation to rubric scores. Logistic regression analysis was conducted to investigate relationships between scores and student characteristics, revealing insights on age, gender, and ACT scores. Additionally, the report discusses rubric item scores, course grades, and correlations between rubric scores and final course grades. The YSU Writing Center introduces a new online scheduling system for students' convenience and enhanced distance education support. Visit the General Education website for updated information.
