Wasserversorgung auf Sylt

Anfang 1897 entschliet sich die Gemeinde Westerland zur Planung einer zentralen Wasserversorgung. Es sollen vorerst nur 287 Huser in Neu-Westerland an das Netz angeschlossen werden. Am 1. Juni 1901 werden auf Sylt das Wasser- und Kanalwerk, sowie die Rohrnetze ohne Probleme in Betrieb genommen.
