CONJUVE • The National Youth Council was created in 2005, bounded to the Secretary-General of the Republic Presidence • CONJUVE is compossed by 1/3 of representatives of the public power and 2/3 from civil society; it has a total of 60 members, 20 from the federal government and 40 from the civil society

  3. 1st National Youth Conference - 2008 • Bring together more than 840 municipal conferences and others. • 27 stages in the states and the Federal District. • Bring together more tha 400 thousand of young people

  4. 2nd Youth Conference“Achieve rights, Develop Brasil” •  27 states of the country • 1.500 territorial conferences • 500 thousand youngsters across the country.

  5. Priority 1 – Black youth men and women • Recognition and implementation, by the Government, turning into public policies for youth the resolutions of the 1st national meeting of black youth (ENJUNE), prioritizing them as ethnic/racial guidelines to/from and/or with the youths.

  6. Priority 2 – basic education: higher education • Allocate part of the funding of education in basic education for the integral and pedagogical model of CIEP's (Integrated Public Education Centres).

  7. Priority 3 – institutional strengthening: legal framework • Approval by the National Congress, of the legal framework of youth: the urgency of PEC No 138/2003, National Youth Plan, PL 4530/2004 and status of youth Rights, PL 27/2007.

  8. Order of priorities • 4- Priority 4 – Environment. • 5- Priority 5 – Sports • 6- Priority 6 – Countryside youth • 7- Priority 7 – Work • 8- Priority 8 – Higher education • 9- Priority 9 – Culture: Cultural Spaces • 10- Priority 10 – Participation Policy: National Youth System • 11- Priority 11 – Young women • 12- Priority 12 – Safety: Children and Adolescent Statute • 13- Priority 13 – Participation Policy: Political Reform • 14- Priority 14 – Other topics: Compulsory military Service • 15- Priority 15 – Institutional strengthening • 16- Priority 16 – People and traditional communities • 17- Priority 17 – Culture • 18- Priority 18 – LGBT Citizenship • 19- Priority 19 – Youth with dissabilities • 20- Priority 20 – Countryside youth: generation of work and incomes • 21- Priority 21 – Security • 22- Priority 22 – Culture: Audiovisual
