Malaria Test • Question • Study the two maps of Chad. • Chad and many other developing countries have been affected by water-related diseases including malaria, cholera and bilharzia/schistosomiasis. • Select one of the above diseases. • (i) Describe the physical & human factors which put people at risk of contacting the disease. (6) • Describe and explain the measures that can be taken to combat the disease. (8) • Discuss the effectiveness of the measures taken to combat the disease. (6) • (iv) Explain the benefits to a LEDC of controlling the disease. (6)
