  6. Almost Home Humane Society - AHHS • The Tippecanoe County Humane Society (TCHS) is an independent, nonprofit agency. We are not funded by any governmental or national animal welfare organization. We are a 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, relief of suffering among animals, and the extension of humane education. We are an open-admission shelter that cares for more than 5,000 animals from our community each year. These are the unwanted, the abandoned, the lost, the abused … the ones who need us the most.
