  3. Video Clips found on YouTube with reference to wine and beer • Removing cork from the bottle trick • How to open wine without a corkscrew • How to open beer with one hand • USB Wine! Download wine straight from the vineyards! • Wine Tasting Cat Peter included these video clips in his presentation at the meeting; however, it was not possible to load them to the web site; if anyone wants to see them, then go to the YouTube web site and type in the above titles. They are worth looking at, especially the first one!

  4. Proposed Wine Education sub-group Why? • Not all club members interested in wine making • Potential new members however do want to focus on this topic Proposal • A sub group meeting bi-monthly initially at venue to be determined (depends on numbers). Open to non-members as well.

  5. What will it cover? • Wine making techniques –practical and theory • Palate education • Recipe formulation • Problem solving • Tastings of set recipes/wine styles

  6. Next Steps • Identify who is interested? • Set date and venue for first meeting – January/February? • Create programme for the year Any Questions?
