  1. The life of a dancer. By: Sophie. L

  2. The History of dance: • Dance was originated in France by a French king: King Louis 4, we are very grateful because if he hadn't come up with this idea dancing wouldn’t be the same! King Louis 4 also created the first dancing academy in 1840. Back then women weren’t allowed on stage only men and boys were. Point work was created when one woman tried to dance on her toes and this became know as point work. 20 years later women had the right to come on stage at last because men couldn’t always play the women bit of a production.

  3. Different types of dance. • There are many types of dance the most common types are ballet, jazz, hip hop and tap. • I dance at K.S Cambridge school of dance there I learn ballet, jazz and hip hop.

  4. Who is allowed to dance? • Anyone can dance even boys can don't be afraid and hide your talent everyone has one whether they find out in there teen years or maybe quite young. I know I found mine when I was 2 I used to love dancing round the living room.

  5. What do i like about dancing? The reason I like to dance is because if I have had a bad day I always cheer myself up by dancing I also love the feeling of floating gracefully over the floor.

  6. What dancing can offer. • Not only is dancing fun to do but it can make you a star, and if you want to be the best you could try to become someone like my dance teacher Miss Kellie who has danced all over the world for a number of dance companies and has danced with Michael Jackson, The Bee Gee’s and Kylie Minogue to name a few!! • What a job getting to do what you love and see the world!!

  7. The end!!! THANK YOU FOR WATCHING.
