Inclusion criteria. Audiology & Speech Sciences year 3 students Took NNNA3073 Research Methodology during Semester 1 2010/2011 Participated in research group work under this subject. Exclusion criteria. Students that have not yet taken NNNA3073 Research Methodology (year 1 & 2)

  1. Inclusion criteria • Audiology & Speech Sciences year 3 students • Took NNNA3073 Research Methodology during Semester 1 2010/2011 • Participated in research group work under this subject

  2. Exclusion criteria • Students that have not yet taken NNNA3073 Research Methodology (year 1 & 2) • Students that have taken NNNA 3073 Research Methodology for more than 1 year (year 4)

  4. Target Population • UKM FSKB Audiology & Speech Sciences year 3 students

  5. Sampling method • Convenient sampling • The patients are selected, in part or in whole, at the convenience of the researcher

  6. Sampling frame & sample unit • Sampling frame: a list of 3rd yr JASP students who had undergone research methodology course in 2010/2011 • Sample unit: an Audiology or Speech science 3rd yr student who had undergone research methodology course in 2010/2011

  7. Sample size Formula for selected population n = x2NP(1-P) 2(N-1) + x2P(1-P) = 3.84 (33) 0.5 (1-0.5) 0.052 (33-1) + 3.84 (0.5)(1-0.5) = 30.46 = 31 students n = sample size N = known population (number of 3rd yr JASP students)
