Tips and Tricks When teaching this lesson, it is beneficial to inform parents and guardians of the student’s new knowledge and what THEY can do to further their child's success in dental hygiene. Sand timers Songs Choosing supplies Replace toothbrushes regularly (2-3 months) Floss children’s teeth Monitor brushing (assist when needed) Brushing starts when the first tooth appears
