Camp 2010!! See what happened on camp this year! By Courtney Sterne
On the bus!! On the Bus I sat next to Ellie. We stoped Milton for morning tea and a play on the playground.
At the Ballarat Museum! At the museum we acted out what would have happened at the courtroom about the Eureka stockade. I was Anastasia Haze one of the woman that sewed the Eureka flag.
Sovereign Hill! We finely arrived at Sovereign Hill. We went into groups right away! We went discovering Sovereign Hill.
Gold Panning At Sovereign Hill we went gold panning all the time. I found no gold at all! We went gold panning so much I got sick of it. One day there were men that pretended to be miners and then the Troupers can and kicked one of them down a hill. It was fun to watch but I felt sorry for the man threat got kicked down the hill.
Gold Game At Sovereign hill we payed the gold game. You got put in teams. You were all from different country's. I was from Ireland. Then we went down to little mine shapers with little bells witch you pretend was gold. You had to have a gold licence or otherwise you got put in jail. Then there was a bank were you swapped your gold for money. The team with the most money at the end won. Our team won!
Cabbins! We all stated in cabins. I was with Ellie Morgan- Bain, Maddison Hall and Elizabeth Wallace. We stayed in the Retardant cabins in room 49. We had A Single, a trundle and a Queen size bed. We had a bathroom a T.V. A cubed and a minie fringe , table and plates and cups.
Dinner Time !! At dinner we had Spaghetti and for dessert we had jelly, pear and ice-cream! For the 2nd night we had lam roast with gravy and veggies. For dessert we had chocolate cake and chocolate sauce.
Bed time! It was my least favourite time of the day BED TIME! I did not want to go to sleep! So when I tried to sleep everybody else kept talking!! I was not happy. Ellie even stood on me in the middle of the night!
Morning Time! When it was morning the teachers came and woke us up. Then we had to get dressed and have showers. We made our beds and did a few things.
Breakfast Time At brekkie time we had a choice of nutragrain, rice bubbles and corn flaks. Then we had tost with jam or vegemite! Then the teachers came around and gave us hot chocolate! Yummy!
Room Inspections! For room inspections you had to have your beds made your room had to be clean! We made a human pyramid and we made atour as well. Then we went down stairs!
Mine Tours! We went on three mine tours. There was the Secret Camber mine, The Red Hill mine and the Quartes mine! In two of the mines we went down in a little cart. In on one of the mine tours we went on a little bus thing.
Blood on the Southern Cross! One night we went and saw blood on the southern cross! We started off in a cinema watching a movie! The we went to the gold panning aria to watch a sound and lights show. Then we hopped on a bus and went to a theatre where the wall opened up and we watched a show. It was really cold!
Shopping On the last day we went shopping! My favourite shop was the lolly shop! You could go on the hores and cart.
The animals! At Sovereign hill there were lots of animals. There were cows, birds, picklocks, turkeys and horses .
What was there to buy there! There were so many shops. Here are my fave shops were the lolly shop, the dress shop, the candle shop.
The Chinese village! At the Chinese village we saw how the chinse lived. It was good to see.
The plays. On the first night we did a preferment night. I was in the clash with Ellie and Maddy.
