Key Features-Day and Night Switch • Two different methods • Electronic switch——adopt fixed filter, accept both visible light and infrared light; • ICR Switch——adopt mechanical infrared cut filter: Forbidden infrared light to ensure the image quality in day time; Accept all light to ensure the sensor can accept enough light at night; ICR Normal D/N Camera (Electronic switch)

  6. AGC Disable AGC Enable AGC AGC: AGC allows users to adjust the gain of amplifier, enabling the camera to output the standard video signal in different lighting conditions. As scene lighting decreases, the system will automatically adjust, adding a mixture of AGC and slow shutter according to the AGC limit setting. In low illumination, AGC will increase camera’s sensitivity, and output bright and clear video.

  7. Black Light Compensation BLC: If a bright backlight is present, the subjects in the picture may appear dark or as a silhouette. Backlight compensation enhances objects in the center of the picture. The camera will adjust the iris so that the object in the sensitive area is properly exposed.   9. WDR WDR(Wide Dynamic Range) control exposure time of both foreground and background. It could balance the brightest and darkest section of a picture to provide more details on screen display. ALL Clear WDR Camera

  10. Strength of HD WDR BLC(1280×960 ) • Mainstream cameras apply BLC to improve the whole image, this makes the background image over exposure. • HD WDR camera could get high definition and clear image of both foreground and background BLC( 1280×960 ) WDR( 1280×960 ) WDR( 1280×960 )

  13. Low Illumination • Low Illumination is the function for the camera to get bright image when the lightness of the environment is very low. Normal Camera Low Illumination Camera

  14. Low Illumination with DNR • When the lightness is very low, normal camera’s image usually has noise. With Noise reduction function, the image is able to be bright and smooth at the same time. Low Illumination Low Illumination with DNR

  17. PoE PoE function is a common function shared by network devices. With PoE, the user can simply use network cable and PoE switches to provide the IP cameras with power. This saves a lot of time from wiring and UPS.

  18. PoE For the application of PoE function, both of the camera and the switch should support 802.3af protocol. And as long as the total power of all the IPCs is smaller than the power supply of the PoE switch, there should be no problem using this function. For the convenience, HIKVISION has newly developed a series of PoE NVR: DS-7600NI-SP series. This series truly supports “Plug and Play”.

  19. Voice Talk Voice Talk allows the user to communicate between the surveillance center and the IP camera site. Convenient to send orders to local site for actions such as camera adjustment.

  20. Sound Pick-up Specification For the new IPC, the user can just use 3.5mm microphone to pick up sound.

  21. Heart Beat The HEART BEAT function is for the remote control center to check the IPC’s status. The IPC will send a message to the center suggesting it’s still online and working fine at certain frequency.

  22. Watermark The WATERMARK function is for prevent the surveillance from being tampered. The Watermark is information added to the video while recording. 1 The users are able to see the watermark of the video using VS player.

  23. One Key Reset The Reset Button is for the IP camera back to factory settings quickly under certain circumstances. Just hold the button and reboot the camera. Then, Keep on holding the reset button for 10-20 seconds. The camera’s parameters will go back to factory settings.(Firmware not included)
