  2. In the beginning . . . . . .

  3. Becoming biotechnologists in two weeks . . . .

  4. Lab work is an integral part of the experience.

  5. And we all agreed on everything. Students debate issues surrounding the use of biotechnology in agriculture.

  6. Then there was the food . . . They needed the jars for an experiment, so someone had to clean them out—a dedicated ag. student couldn’t just waste perfectly good baby food…

  7. Taking food science to a whole new level.

  8. The newsletter went big time with help from Joy Carter Ag. Communications skills are important to everyone.

  9. GHP FFA Chapter

  10. The GHP FFA chapter held their own 4th of July cookout.

  11. Fun on the West Lawn

  13. Students get to see how it really was in the “good ol’ days”…

  14. Hot Fun on Field Day

  15. The Great Georgia Ag Tour ABAC was a great host for fishing followed by a fish fry for dinner.

  16. The group got a tour of Merial’s headquarters in Duluth.

  17. Who doesn’t like a baby chick?

  18. This group is looking over the side of the Fieldale in-house feed mill.

  19. Fieldale sponsored the lunch and Commissioner Irvin received a GHP Agriscience t-shirt.

  20. Everyone learned something new at the Fieldale processing plant, whether they wanted to know it or not.

  21. Students enjoy learning what AGCO is all about.

  22. AGCO sponsored the evening’s meal and students were able to see some of their equipment up-close.

  23. The Publix diary plant was a real “treat”.

  24. Homeport The students were pleased with the BBQ lunch and tour that Homeport provided.

  25. DAIRY Tifton is a great place to see cows…

  26. Give them a hand…Putting an arm in a cow’s stomach!

  27. Animal Doctors

  28. GPS Fun Mr. Tomlinson helps students appreciate the finer points of GPS technology.

  29. Mr. Woodard, State Director of Agricultural Education, spends an afternoon with the students to see what GHP is all about.

  33. The Agriscience Challenge A chance to show off what they learned to other students and visitors.

  36. Seen on the left side of the screen, the Captain of the Starship Enterprise gives a presentation during the Agriscience Challenge.

  40. Six weeks seems like a long time, but to everyone who has had the experience, it is never long enough.
