  7. KAPOW – Kids and the Power of Work Lesson 4 Game Time – Forming the teams (5 minutes) • We will create 4 or 5 teams. • Everyone will be side by side arrange by height. • Let’s form the teams by selecting each one from the extremities Sample: Team 1 Team 2 Team 3 Team 4

KAPOW – Kids and the Power of Work Lesson 4 Team Work Practice Overview: • We will have 3 games to performed by each team. • We need a leader to be appointed for each of the games. • The leader will determine who will do what. • Team members should follow the leader’s direction. • After each game, we will review the following: • How did your team decided which student would do each job? • What did each team member do? • Did your team have any problems or disagreements? If so, how did you resolve them? • How did each person’s job help accomplish the team’s goal?

KAPOW – Kids and the Power of Work Lesson 4 Game 2: Wall Sit Challenge Goal: Sit against the wall for the longest • Teams get together and decide who will be competing on the challenge. • Participants lineup on wall with your back is flat against the wall or chair with feet shoulder width apart. • When clock starts, participants lower their hips until their knees form right angles. • Remember to cheers to your team member!

KAPOW – Kids and the Power of Work Lesson 4 Game 3: Human Knot Goal: Form a circle without letting go of one another's hands. • Form a tight circle (shoulder-to-shoulder). • Each person reach into the center of the circle and grab a hand of a person standing across the circle - each person must hold hands with 2 different people. • Try to untangle without let go of one another's hands. • When the circle is formed, some people can be facing out and some in.
