The architects: • Astrid Klein was born in Varese (Italy) in 1962. Traversing disciplinary and cultural boundaries has been a way of life for Astrid. She is a professional in Interior Design graduated from École des Arts Decoratifs in Estrasburg
Mark Dytham was born in Northamptonshire (United Kingdom) in 1964. A fascination with the potential of building "the new" was instilled in him from an early age. He is a professional in Architecture graduated from Newcastle University School of Architecture. Both completed theirs career in 1988 at the Royal College of Art in London with a master in Art. Together, they established an architecture office in Tokyo.
The Color: Klein and Dytham use the color in order to complement their works. They use the psychology of color to create very interesting spaces. This is TBWA, is a global advertising company working with Apple and Adidas Light: In theLeaf chapel, light is used to create a mystical space. the light is one of the most important elements present in all the religions, and KDa take this great relation between cultures to create their chapel concept.
TextureThe texture in their projects is often used like a complement in the design. The flowers in their facade create the texture in their projects. The Rhythm The rhythm is created by the light. The windows make a funny system of light and shadows that create an interesting rhythm on the walls.This is Heidi House is an extremely low cost studio and office space.
